All units have emergency releases inside. Even if the door is locked you can still open the door from the inside

The main consideration is how to get power across a footpath or pavement. This is usually impractical on a public road.

Adjustment is not normally necessary, however sometimes our customers need to switch from Freezer to Fridge or vice versa, and we can talk you through this.

Genrally speaking no. Security of our units and your contents is important and so the trailers are secured. However, we recognise that in some situations, they may have to be moved for access (for example to manhole covers) and in this case we can tailor the security accordingly so it may be moved by hand. We do not allow self towing however.

We just ask you not to leave waste packging etc in the unit, and to clean up any major spills. Otherwise we take care of the cleaning.

Our Freezer Trailers and Fridge Trailers are only designed for static use.

These are flat packed and delivered in a box type trailer. It is ideal if we can park close to where it will be assembled, but the components are quite portable.

Our Trailers are delivered by a 4x4. Final manoeuvring can be done by hand in most cases.

Please call or email us to discuss an account. We are registered suppliers to a large number of national businesses and invoicing is normally straightforward. Sometimes we may ask for a credit card payment in the first instance.

In an emergency your freezer will generally arrive pre-frozen, meaning it can be loaded soon after delivery. The time taken for a unit to get down to freezer temperature from ambient temperarure is subjective, but generally it will take about 4 hours. To get to Fridge temperature is quicker - around 1-2 hours.

We specialise in short notice hire. However, for planned hire, the more notice you can give the better – especially if your requirement is across the summer?

Depending on demand at the time and your location we can usually be with you within a few hours. We prioritise critical situations, for example a hospital freezer. We are usually able to bring a trailer unit pre-frozen to minimize downtime.

All trailer units have 6 shelves as standard (3 per side). This shelving can be removed by arrangement. Cold Rooms can be supplied with or without shelving.

Yes - we will supply 2 keys with your unit.

The equipment is all insured by Icecool Trailers. However, the contents must be insured by business hiring the trailer - it is not covered on our insurance.

Please call us straightaway. We are well set up to deal with any issues. We are supported by contracted engineers, as well as having our own expertise and in the worst case we have spare equipment.

We would ask you to pay for this at cost – nothing more!

You only need a standard 13amp 3 pin mains (not an extension lead) socket as a minimum. A 16amp “C” form socket is even better. We will provide the leads between the socket and the trailer and we prefer to limit this distance to 20m to avoid potential “Voltage Drop” or connection issues.
