Can Freezer Trailer Hire Qualify as Art?

an interesting question: can freezer trailer hire qualify as art?
Today's post comes to you compliments of a Rescue.org press release outlining a new art project unveiled in New York City in October 2018. The work, entitled 'Odyssey', is intended to draw reference to the plight of millions of refugees around the world who have no place to call home. The work centers around blood.
That's right, you did read correctly. Odyssey is a work of art featuring two 1-tonne cubes of frozen blood representing the global community. The blood was donated by thousands of volunteers, then combined before freezing. The first showing of Odyssey took place at the New York Public Library on October 23rd.
You Have to Keep it Cold
Using human blood as an artistic medium is interesting to say the least. The thing is, blood must be kept cold. If the frozen blocks of Odyssey's blood are allowed to thaw and remain warm for any length of time, they will most certainly discolor and go bad. So some sort of rented freezer is required. By the way, the blood is scheduled to go on a worldwide tour following its New York display.
We have no idea if Odyssey will be kept at temperature with two freezer trailers, but we suspect that's the case. Remember, this is an artwork that has to be portable. The freezer trailer is the most portable means of temporary freezing that would not interfere with actually enjoying the art display.
We suppose the artist could choose refrigerated van hire, but that seems a bit impractical given what it is he needs to haul around. Freezer trailers seem to be a much better option. But of course, it's not our choice to make.
